Questions owners ask.
We already use Tally. Do we have to leave it?
No. Keltory keeps its own GST-ready books so sales, purchase, stock and payroll flow into accounts without re-typing. It imports your Tally masters and vouchers to start, and exports vouchers as Tally import files for your accountant. Whether you keep Tally for filing is a choice we make with your CA.
Does it handle GST, e-invoices and e-way bills?
Tax invoices split CGST, SGST and IGST by state, with HSN and the amount in words. It builds the GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B files, matches purchase bills with GSTR-2B, and makes the e-invoice and e-way bill files, checking them for problems the portals would reject. Uploading them is a step you do on the government portal; we do not hold your portal passwords.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. There is an Android app for the people on the floor and on the road: attendance, jobs, machine stops, stock receipts and counts, sales visits and follow-ups. It works without signal and sends everything when it is back online, scans barcodes and QR labels, and locks with a fingerprint. The web app also works in a phone browser.
Can my team use it in Hindi?
Yes. Every screen is in English and Hindi, on the web and on the phone, and each person picks their own. Voice notes can be spoken instead of typed.
Our process is unusual. Can it be changed?
Yes, that is what the setup week is for. Fields, workflows, approvals, costing calculators, dashboards, roles, alerts, follow-up rules and document layouts are settings, not code, so most changes take hours, not months. Modules you do not use can be switched off.
How do our existing customers, items and stock get in?
From your spreadsheets or a Tally export. It checks every row and lists any problem with its row number before saving anything. Opening stock and opening balances load as drafts your storekeeper and accountant check and post.
Who can see salaries and costs?
Only the roles you choose, and any named person you give access to. Pay details are hidden on the server from everyone else, and the assistant is not offered them either.
Does the price change with the size of our company?
Not with the number of people who log in. The plan price covers companies up to 250 employees. Above that a size step is added, from ₹7,500 a month above 250 employees, because a bigger factory needs a bigger server and more support. You get the exact price in writing before you sign.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes, ₹25,000 once, plus GST, billed with your first month's price. It pays for an implementer on site through your first month: three days in the first week (six for Enterprise), then a day a week. After that it is the monthly price only.
Is there a cheaper plan with fewer modules?
No. Every company gets everything: sales and follow-ups, purchase and stock, production and machines, dispatch and service, accounts and GST, HR and payroll, quality, maintenance, portals for your customers, vendors and staff, and the Android app. You switch off what you do not use so the screens stay simple, but the price is the same.
What if we want to leave?
You can export everything at any time: every record, the audit trail and your uploaded files, as a ZIP of spreadsheets. We do not hold it hostage.
What happens to our data if your company disappears?
Your agreement includes a data-export and continuity clause, and backups are copied to a second location. We will be plain on the call: we are a new company and you should weigh that.
Is the assistant sending our data to some AI company?
By default, no: it answers common questions itself. If you choose the smarter mode, the question and the few records needed to answer it go to a model provider under terms that do not let them keep or learn from it. You decide, and can switch it off.
Can we send quotes and reminders from it?
Yes. Share a document by WhatsApp or email with the PDF attached, and let it draft payment reminders for overdue invoices. You read each one and press send. Nothing goes out by itself.
Who helps us after we go live?
An implementer is on site three days in your first week (six for Enterprise) and a day a week for the rest of the first month. After that a support team answers by phone and WhatsApp, with one support person for every 20 companies, so there is always someone free when you call.
